Gas Refrigeration

Tundra Engineering is a full-service EPCM provider with integrated in-house process, mechanical, civil/structural, electrical, instrumentation, and automation teams dedicated to gas refrigeration and gas plant projects. Our engineers have extensive experience developing conceptual process simulations, detailed designs, and operability-focused control philosophies for choke plants, dew point control systems, shallow-cut and deep-cut refrigeration, and turbo-expander facilities. This multi-discipline approach ensures that all aspects of the refrigeration and gas processing facility—from compression and fractionation to condensate stabilization and product conditioning towers—are optimized as a single, cohesive plant rather than a collection of packaged skids.

As an EPCM, Tundra can support the full project lifecycle, including front-end engineering and design (FEED), detailed engineering, procurement, construction management, and commissioning support for both greenfield and brownfield gas plants. Our teams are familiar with integrating new refrigeration systems into existing facilities, managing tie-ins, debottlenecking, and plant optimization to maximize NGL recovery while maintaining reliability and safety. With decades of gas processing experience, we bring proven design standards, vendor relationships, and project execution processes that reduce risk and help clients bring gas refrigeration and gas plant projects online efficiently and cost-effectively.
